More Kudos to the Following CAPD Faculty and Students
To La Barbara Wigfall, associate professor of landscape
architecture/regional and community planning, for being featured in the
winter 2009 issue of the K-Stater alumni magazine (pdf attached).
To Sara Ege, student majoring in interior architecture and product design, for being selected as the December 2009 Study Abroad Student of the Month by the K-State Study Abroad Office.
To
the following students who have recently been inducted into Golden Key
academic honor society: Annamarie Bliss, architecture; Scott Davis,
architecture; Anne Hundley, landscape architecture; Samuel Nitcher,
interior architecture and product design; Kyle Rogler, architecture;
and Erin Switzer, architecture.
To the following students whose
entries received prizes in the Second Annual University Life Cafe Art
Exhibit: Ryan Collier, architecture, second place for “The Sentinel;”
John Vesel, architecture, third place for “The Turtle vs the Lion;” and
Subhojit Sinha, landscape architecture/regional and community planning,
honorable mention for “Anderson in a Dew Drop.” The purpose of the
competition and exhibit, sponsored by the Union Program Council, is to
promote wellness through artistic expression. Eighty-eight entries were
submitted, 65 were exhibited in the Kemper Gallery of the K-State
Student Union, and CAPD students received 3 of the 6 awards given.
To
the following students who were recently inducted into Phi Kappa Phi
Academic Honor Society: Kirk Chonis, architecture; Mark Holton, Jr.,
architecture; Alyssa Parsons, architecture; and Jane Winslow, landscape
architecture.
To Elise Fagan, landscape architecture, who
received chapter recognition and a scholarship from Phi Kappa Phi
Academic Honor Society.
