Twelve Kansas State University students were recognized by K-State’s Friends of International Programs for capturing the essence of international and American experiences through photography.
Participants in the International Photo Contest, which was open to all current K-State students, submitted photos that captured the international experience from both the domestic and international perspectives. Sixteen entries earned honors.
The contest winners included the following students enrolled in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design:
Dustin Clare, fifth-year student in architecture, Dodge City, honorable mention for “Bicing”; Katie Gall, fifth-year student in interior architecture and product design, Independence, Mo., third place in the domestic student category for “Urquhart Castle” and an honorable mention for “Rock”; and Christie Ann Samples, fifth-year student in architecture, Kansas City, Mo., honorable mention for “Educatorium.”
