Faculty Members Support Two Colleges

Laurence A. Clement, Jr. and Lynn Maryona Ewanow, Manhattan, Kan., have made a commitment to the College of Architecture, Planning and Design and the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University to establish the Clement and Ewanow Study Abroad Scholarship and the Clement and Ewanow Equine Advancement Fund.

The purpose of the funds is to provide financial assistance to students in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design at K-State and the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Clement is a native of Concord, Mass. He is a 1985 graduate of K-State, with a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design. He also received his juris doctorate from the University of Kansas. Clement is an associate professor in landscape architecture. Ewanow is a native of Kirkwood, New York. She is an associate dean and associate professor for the College of Architecture, Planning and Design.

Clement and Ewanow are members of Presidents Club, a KSU Foundation philanthropic leadership organization for friends and alumni of K-State.

Philanthropic contributions to K-State are coordinated by the Kansas State University Foundation. The foundation manages fundraising efforts with alumni, friends, corporations and foundations to secure private support for the university.
