Judy I. Wyatt, 1948-2007
Judy I. Wyatt, 59, of Manhattan, died Sunday, Oct 21, 2007, at her home in Manhattan.
She was born May 30, 1948, in Clay Center, the daughter of Edwin and Della Mae (Jahnke) Rudolph.
She had been a library assistant for the KSU Libraries for 29 years, working in the Weigel branch library, College of Architecture, Planning and Design, from 1993 until retiring in 2006.
She was a member of the Riley Presbyterian Church and had been active in the Brownies, Girl Scouts and Relay for Life.
Judy was married on Sept. 19, 1970, in Riley, to Don Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Rudolph, and a brother, Clyde Rudolph.
She is survived by her husband, Don Wyatt of the home in Manhattan; one son, Keith Wyatt, of Manhattan; one daughter, Kristina Wyatt, of Manhattan; her mother, Della Mae Rudolph of Riley; one brother, James Rudolph and wife Candy of Manhattan; and one granddaughter, Lydia Mae Wyatt.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at the Holmes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. Respect calls may be made anytime Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research.
