Kansas State University students seeking careers in the design disciplines will get the chance to meet with prospective employers at DesignExpo, the career fair of the College of Architecture, Planning and Design.

DesignExpo is being held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, and again during those hours on Friday, March 2. Both events will take place in the Ballroom of the K-State Student Union.

Event sponsors are the K-State College of Architecture, Planning, and Design and K-State’s Career and Employment Services.

Employers attending DesignExpo are offering full-time employment as well as summer and other internship opportunities in the private sector. They will also be available to visit with students who wish to learn more about the disciplines of architecture, interior architecture and product design, landscape architecture, and regional and community planning, as well as related design fields.

This is the seventh annual DesignExpo. With 135 participating firms, this year’s event represents a 19 percent increase in the number of firms from last year’s record high of 113.
