Lynn Moore Is 2007 Alumni Fellow
Kansas State University has selected Lynn A. Moore as the 2007 Alumni Fellow of the College of Architecture, Planning and Design. Moore will visit the campus on February 22 and 23, 2007, to meet with members of the academic community in a variety of settings.
She will also make a public presentation entitled
Whoa! What A Journey!
on Thursday, February 22, at 3:00 p.m. in the Little Theatre of the K-State Student Union. The presentation is open to the public without charge.
Moore is a principal in the Colorado multidisciplinary design firm Davis Partnership Architects. She earned the bachelor of landscape architecture from K-State in 1979.
She directs the planning and landscape architectural studio for the Denver and Vail offices where she leads all master planning and site development efforts. Her design and leadership abilities have been recognized by design awards and through her election to design review boards and commissions.
For more than 25 years, Moore has served both private and public clients in Colorado and the western United States in a variety of capacities related to land use planning and design. Collaborating with other design professionals in a multidisciplinary way, she works hand-in-hand each day with architects and interior architects creating facilities harmonious with their surroundings and the impact these spaces have upon people.
In 1995, Moore was elected to the American Society of Landscape Architects College of Fellows. She lives in the Denver foothills with her husband and two sons.
The Alumni Fellow program is celebrated annually by all Kansas State University academic colleges and is coordinated by the Kansas State University Alumni Association.
