Keith Christensen Retires
Thursday, May 15th, 1997
Keith H. Christensen gave 23 years of service to the Department of Architecture at Kansas State
University. He retired in May of 1989.
During his tenure within the department, he dedicated much of his time in the development of a wind tunnel and heliodon. With these, he taught courses and engaged in research on the impact of sun, wind and light upon architecture. This equipment, which is still used by students today, stands as a testament to his dedication to the importance of the study of natural forces upon the design process. He will be remembered for this valuable contribution to the intellectual life of the College.
