MLA Financial Aid for Post-Baccalaureate Students
Financial Assistance for graduate study
A limited number of 0.4 time teaching and research assistantships are typically available to second and third year students in the program on a competitive basis. The MLA Program tries to provide a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) for one semester to each enrolled student. These usually occur after the third semester of study and prior to graduation. A GTA assignment provides a tuition free semester and a salary of $3,500.
For further information on financial aid, interested students should contact the Department of Landscape Architecture/Regional and Community Planning, as well as the Office of Student Financial Aid, located in Fairchild Hall. Some scholarships are available to qualified applicants.
Landscape Architecture Foundation Scholarships
In its scholarship program, the Landscape Architecture Foundation partners with generous sponsors and organizations seeking to improve the environment through student support. The financial support resulting from these partnerships includes multiple scholarship categories, which reward superior student performance or assist those with unmet financial need, and fellowships, which encourage original research.
