The success of our Degree Program also rests upon our strategic relationships with current design professionals within the Industry itself. This involvement assists in keeping course instruction relevant to trends in practice, as well as providing resources for the direct benefit of students and faculty. The culture of our program embraces the entrepreneurial spirit as a mechanism for innovation in design instruction, and we often look toward our colleagues in Industry for guidance and support.
We encourage design professionals of all disciplines to consider engaging our students through studio critiques, lectures, product demonstrations, or by simply providing reference samples to update our materials library. We also encourage Principals and firms to consider sponsoring a semester-long design studio through mentorship of a project sequence which parallels that of professional practice.
