What equipment and resources are available?
Plotting (large format):
HP Model 5500 Color Inkjet Plotter, loaded with rolled media, up to 42” wide.
(full color capabilities and uses UV inks)
HP Model 5000 Color Inkjet Plotter, loaded with rolled media, up to 60” wide.
(full color capabilities and uses UV inks)
Epson Model 7900 Color Inkjet Plotter, loaded with rolled media, up to 24” wide.
(full color capabilities, high quality, and uses UV inks)
Printing (medium format):
Xerox Model 7760 Phaser Printer 8.5x11 & 11x17 paper sizes
Color Laser printer with a high capacity storage, handles 5,000 pages in storage, and can print up to 15ppm
in full color. Fast, quick, and easy printing for daily tasks.
(photo-realistic, high resolution color capabilities)
Render Nodes and Visualization Laboratory:
15 Dell computers with Xeon 2.8Ghz processor, 3GB Ram
3 Boxx Workstation Render Nodes, dual pentium 4 processors, 4GB Ram
Digital Libraries (blocks, materials, textures):
Full 50GB of Images, Textures, & Plug-ins
