Established in 2007, the furniture design workshop facilities in the Department of Interior Architecture and Product Design have been named in honor of Steve Murphy. In so doing, and through the generous support of Steve and his wife Sylvia, a fund has been established to assist in offsetting equipment and maintenance costs for the furniture design workshop.
