Our college will be hosting its first Pecha Kucha (pronounced
“pe-chak-cha”; Japanese for “chit-chat”) presentation that will
feature three alumni as well as three of our own faculty. Pecha Kucha uses a
format whereby a presenter shows 20 images for 20 seconds apiece, for a total
time of 6 minutes, 40 seconds. This concise format enables multiple
presentations to occur and encourages audience attention and engagement as the
event will conclude with an informal question and answer session.
