A college user account is an account allowing you to logon and authenticate to the college servers in our domain. This college account will also give you access to networked resources like Autodesk software and plotting facilities in your department.
Your college account is different from your eID account. Your college account will be used to access networked resources within the college network only, while your eID account is used to access networked resources for central university services such as email and KATS.
Your college account is not your local system’s Windows account. Your Windows account is on your local machine, your college account is not. It is very important you know your local account information in addition to your college account information.
If you don’t have a college account, if your college account has expired, or if you have forgotten your account information, please visit the system administrators, Don Crawford or Dereatha Cross, in Seaton Hall room 12 for assistance.
Before you visit us be sure to know your eID user name. We will use the same user name as your eID when we create your college account. If you are not sure, you can search for yourself at www.ksu.edu at a lab computer. Please present your student ID to the system administrators when you request account assistance.
