1. Introduction
Welcome to the College of Architecture, Planning & Design!
This Studio Network Setup CD is provided to assist our students with the most expeditious method to configure their computers for proper network usage and safety.
ALL STUDENTS WITH COMPUTERS IN STUDIO MUST COMPLETE THIS PROCESS.
Updates are made to this process every year. If you do not complete this setup fully and accurately, you will encounter problems later on.
The first step is to make sure your computer is UNPLUGGED from the network jack. There will be explicit instructions as to when it will be safe to plug in to the network.
There are 10 parts to the setup process to properly configure your computer for the network. You must NOT skip anything unless the instructions state Optional or otherwise.
We encourage you to visit our website at http://capd.ksu.edu/cns when your done completing this network setup. The website will always contain the most recent additions and information. The website should not be available to you at this moment since you are unplugged from the network.
If you are unable to view these instructions properly, please visit us in Seaton Hall Room 12 and request assistance.
